Tucker Carlson

 Tucker Swanson McNear Carlson born May 16, 1969 is an American conservative political commentator  who hosted the evening political talk show "Tucker Carlson Tonight" on Fox News from 2016 to 2023. I am also a writer. Since ending his contract with Fox News, he has hosted Tucker Up. "Four Carlson began his media career in the 1990s, writing for The Weekly Standard and other publications. He served as a commentator on CNN  from 2000 to 2005, and co-hosted Crossfire, the network's prime-time  debate show, from 2001 to 2005. From 2005 until 2008, he hosted the evening show 'Tucker' on MSNBC. He became a political analyst for Fox News in 2009 and appeared on various shows before starting his own show.  Carlson co founded  the right-wing news  opinion website The Daily Caller in 2010 and served as its first editor in-chief until selling his shares and retiring in 2020.He has written three of his books: Politicians, Partisans, and Parasites 2003, Ship of Fools 2018, and The Long Slide 2021.

 Carlson is considered a leading spokesperson for white grievance politics, and is known for spreading far-right ideas into mainstream politics and discourse. He has focused on issues such as population replacement the coronavirus pandemic, the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capito, and Ukrainian biological weapons. has promoted conspiracy theories on  the subject. and is known for making false and misleading statements on these and other topics. Carlson's comments about race, immigration, and women, including insults he made on the show from 2006 to 2011, have been described by some as racist and sexist, and have been criticized by some as racist and sexist. This led to an advertising boycott on Carlson Tonight.In April 2023, FOX News fired Carlson and canceled the show without  explanation."Tucker Carlson Tonight" was one of the most watched cable news programs in the country at the time. Carlson was one of the anchors named in  Dominion Voting Systems' defamation lawsuit against Fox News Network  for airing false statements about the plaintiff company's voting machines. Fox News paid $787.5 million and required Fox News to admit that its broadcast statements were false.
