 Katie Elizabeth Britt née Boyd; born February 2, 1982 is an American lawmaker and lawyer who is the junior Joined together States representative from Alabama since 2023. A part of the Republican Party, Britt is the to begin with lady to be chosen to the U.S. Senate from Alabama and the most youthful Republican lady ever chosen to the Senate.[1] She was president and CEO of the Commerce Committee of Alabama from 2019 to 2021, and was chief of staff for her Senate forerunner, Richard Shelby, from 2016 to 2018.

Britt was born as Katie Elizabeth Boyd to Julian and Debra Boyd on February 2, 1982,in the city of Enterprise.She was raised exterior Post Rucker presently Post Novosel in Dale District, Alabama, and worked at her family's little commerce all through her youth. In her youth, she gone to a Young ladies State administration program, and was chosen to a senator position at the conference in 1999. A graduate of Venture Tall School, Britt was a cheerleader there and one of 19 valedictorians upon graduation in 2000. She selected at the College of Alabama, where she majored in political science and was chosen president of its Understudy Government Association.She graduated in 2004 with a Lone ranger of Science degree. In 2013, she gotten a Juris Specialist from the College of Alabama School of Law.
